Duties include:
-
Stocking shelves when food shipments arrive
-
Preparing food bags for clients
-
Restocking and organizing pantry items
-
Dating boxes and rotating inventory to ensure food safety
-
Serving clients with kindness and respect
“Our volunteers are the heart of our food pantry,” Captain Manuel Sulca said in a statement. “A few hours of your time can make a tremendous difference for families in our community.”
Individuals, retirees, students, workplace teams and service groups are all encouraged to participate.
