Sidewalks, crosswalks, and safer streets are the focus of an upcoming community conversation in one Schuyler County village.
The Southern Tier Central Regional Planning and Development Board is partnering with the Village of Odessa to host a public meeting on walkability on February 24th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Village of Odessa Community Room. Organizers say the session will give residents a closer look at ongoing walkability planning efforts and the goals behind the project.
More importantly, community members will have a chance to weigh in, sharing concerns, identifying problem areas, and suggesting improvements to make getting around on foot easier and safer.
