When students returned to school in Romulus this week, they were greeted by a new Assistant Principal.
Just before Christmas break, the Board of Education approved Stephanie Moll for the position. Her career spans two decades, with experience in educational leadership and classroom instruction. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal at Seward Elementary School in the Auburn Enlarged City School District, where she collaborated with staff and families to implement a state-aligned curriculum, support student achievement, and promote a respectful and inclusive learning environment. Her prior leadership roles include serving as an Assistant Principal Intern at Seneca Falls Central School District and as a mentor for new teachers.
Moll holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from SUNY Oswego, a Master of Science in Literacy, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from SUNY Cortland. She is certified as a New York State School Building Leader, District Leader, and Literacy Specialist (B-6), and holds permanent certification in Pre-K-6 education.
According to the school district, beyond her academic and professional qualifications, Moll has been recognized for her leadership and impact. She was awarded the Marian Beauchamp Schoenhut Award for her high standards in instructional improvement and was named Section V Class B Coach of the Year for her work as a varsity softball coach. Her involvement in initiatives like PBIS, MTSS, and district literacy programs highlights her ability to foster collaboration and innovation.
