Charges could be filed as early as this week against four Clyde-Savannah high school football players for an alleged hazing incident that occurred in the team’s locker room last week.
Clyde Village Police Chief Tom Connor told the Times of Wayne County four players are currently under investigation for the incident. Connor says they believe a video was taken of the hazing incident and are attempting to locate it.
The Golden Eagles football team had its season canceled last week due to the allegations and ongoing investigation.
Clyde-Savannah School Superintendent Michael Hayden issued an updated statement to the district on Friday:
