Report: Disagreement Delays Ex-Macedon Police Chief’s Punishment

SHARE NOW

The Wayne County District Attorney’s Office is offering a conditional discharge but the judge believes there should be probation.

That disagreement has delayed the sentencing of former Macedon Police Chief Fabian Rivera for at least another month. Rivera entered not-guilty pleas in February to a pair of DWI charges related to a crash he was involved in with his patrol car last November.

Channel 10 in Rochester reports a conference phone call with all parties involved will happen later this week with the next court appearance set for May 20th.
