The Geneva Public Library is inviting families to join them on Saturday for Read Across America.
The library’s Hannah Gingrich said it was one of their biggest events in 2025 and they are hoping for a similar turnout on Saturday.
“We will have Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax. There will be a magic show with Chris Johnson. There’ll be crafts and face painting, cookies, hot cocoa. It’s like a huge party. It’s a celebration of books and reading and the way that it extends out into our lives. It’s a huge blast.
Gingrich expressed enthusiasm about the new program, saying the initiative is being offered in partnership with Geneva 2030. She also welcomed the participating community partners, including Geneva Reads, Child & Family Resources, and the Boys and Girls Club.
