Raising A Stink In Seneca Falls

SHARE NOW

There is a new way for Seneca Falls Town residents and businesses to report offensive odors.

Town Supervisor Frank Schmitter announced last week that the new procedures are in effect immediately.  A resident or business can now report ‘unreasonably offensive” odors to the Code Enforcement officer by calling, email, or in person.

In announcing the new procedures, no mention was made of the Seneca Meadows Landfill.

The code enforcement officer will then contact the person or persons and request they file a support deposition that states when, where, and to what the complaint is related.

For those wishing to complain in person, Porcelli’s office is in the Town Municipal Building at 130 Ovid Street.
