Protesters gathered outside Naples High School on Saturday, calling for the removal of a teacher recently placed on leave.
District officials say the teacher was put on leave after administrators became aware of Facebook posts referencing the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The rally was held in front of Town Hall, across from the school. Demonstrators played recordings of Kirk’s debates over loudspeakers and carried signs and flags while waving to passing drivers.
The crowd included parents, students, and community members from Naples and neighboring towns.
