Last Friday-May 30th-was Memorial Day in Waterloo, the Birthplace of the national holiday.

The featured speaker in ceremonies at LaFayette Park was the leading candidate for the National Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Bill Clancy.

Clancy also stressed the need to stop veteran suicide and end the stigma of seeking help.
