Police arrested a Wolcott man Friday night after he allegedly sliced another man with a knife.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, a physical altercation between Jackson Kent and two other men and a woman escalated when the 25-year-old retrieved a knife from his car and sliced a man in his neck and chest.
Kent was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. There was no information on the condition of the person sliced.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by State Police, the Red Creek Fire Department, and Fair Haven Ambulance.
