On February 10, 2015, 32-year-old Kimberly Rouland, of Arcadia, was reported missing by her husband to the New York State Police in Lyons.
Thomas Rouland last saw his wife leaving their residence on Fairville Maple Ridge Road at about 6:30 p.m. on the evening of February 9, 2015, leaving behind her personal belongings and vehicle. She was wearing boots, yoga pants, and a lightweight black coat. Rouland was the subject of a massive search during the month of February 2015.
On March 12, 2015, Rouland’s body was found about a mile from her home, in a snowbank on a steep embankment on Martin Road in the town of Acadia, Wayne County, New York. Rouland’s death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner.
At the time of her death, Rouland left behind her three children, ages 4, 10, and 11.
