The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent suspicious incident on Burgess Road in the Town of Waterloo.
At this time, Sheriff’s Investigators can confirm that a dark-colored minivan stopped along the roadway and the male operator did interact with a young female. It is unknown at this time what the male operator’s intention was, but it was reported that he asked the female to get into the vehicle. Sheriff’s Investigators have been diligently following up on leads and are working to confirm the identity of the male operator.
This case remains under investigation and further information will be released when available. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with multiple other law enforcement agencies on this investigation. This information is being shared for public safety purposes only at this time.
