A 64-year-old man from Ontario County has been charged with criminal solicitation following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Gerald Walker was arrested on July 11, 2025, after allegedly contacting a 16-year-old girl via text message and requesting inappropriate photos. The charge is classified as criminal solicitation in the fourth degree.
Walker was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Phelps Town Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
