Five individuals, including four teenagers, were arrested after police responded to a reported dispute at a home in Seneca Falls.
Authorities were called to the scene after receiving reports that a large group of juveniles—some wearing ski masks and allegedly armed—had gathered outside the residence and were involved in a confrontation with its occupants.
While investigating, police say 32-year-old Amber Dyson, of Seneca Falls, arrived and allegedly attempted to interfere as officers detained suspects. When taken into custody, she reportedly resisted arrest and damaged police property. Dyson was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police also arrested four juveniles—ages 13, 15, and two 17-year-olds—charging them with menacing, conspiracy, reckless endangerment, and stalking. The juveniles were released to their parents, and their cases will be handled by Seneca County Probation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
