The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a Pennsylvania woman was hospitalized after a rollover crash in the town of Seneca on Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to the intersection of County Road 4 and Sutton Road around 7 a.m. for the report of a two-car crash.
Investigators determined both vehicles had been traveling east on County Road 4 when a 2009 Chevy truck, driven by Jason Durfee of Newark, began making a right turn onto Sutton Road. A 2018 Hyundai SUV, driven by Justine Snyder of Elkland, Pennsylvania, was following too closely and sideswiped Durfee’s truck.
Snyder’s SUV rolled over multiple times after the impact. She was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor back and neck injuries. Durfee was not hurt.
Deputies cited Snyder for following too closely.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
