Police say Jennifer Smith’s car ended up in the Erie Canal on September 11th after she was involved in an accident at the intersection of State Route 31 and Alderman Road in Macedon. A blood draw performed at the time of the crash found Smith to be driving with a blood alcohol content of .11 percent. The 22-year-old Walworth woman was released on an appearance ticket for Macedon Town Court.
