An Ontario County man will spend the next nine years in prison for his role in a shooting at an apartment complex in Canandaigua in 2020 and for a separate incident that involved an attempted stabbing in May of 2022.
Michael Delgado of Manchester admitted to firing an assault rifle at another person several times during a large fight in the parking lot of a Jefferson Avenue apartment complex. No one was struck by the gunfire.
The Finger Lakes Times reports Delgado pleaded guilty to attempted murder, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
