The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office is hosting two open house sessions at our 911 Center for individuals interested in a Career in 911 Communications. There is a NYS Civil Service Exam for the position of Dispatcher scheduled for January 27th, 2024. The last date to apply for this exam is December 13th, 2023.

Our open house events will be held on December 2nd from 10 AM – 12 PM and on December 7th from 6 PM – 8 PM.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see first-hand the operations of the 911 Center and ask questions of current 911 Staff. We will also assist participants with completing their online application for the civil service exam during the open house sessions.
Parking is available across the street from the Sheriff’s Office.
