No one was injured after a fire in a classroom at the Wayne Central Middle School Friday morning.
According to officials, sheriff’s deputies and firefighters noticed smoke in the hallway and an active flame inside a classroom on the second floor.
The fire was contained in one room and quickly extinguished by firefighters.
The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
