NPS Names Special Events Coordinator for Tubman & Women’s Rights Parks

The Harriet Tubman and Women’s Rights National Historical Parks have a new Special Events Coordinator.

Anneliese Meck will work to plan and execute annual special events at the Auburn and Seneca Falls parks as well as work on events to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

Meck graduated from Kent State and has a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell. She previously worked at the Genesee Country Village and Museum in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion interpretive program management.

Meck’s first day will be June 18.
