Newark Mayor Clears Up Taco Bell, Microtel Rumors

SHARE NOW

Despite what you may have read on social media, the Taco Bell and Microtel projects are still happening in Newark. Mayor Jonathan Taylor provided us with an update on FLX Morning on Finger Lakes News Radio.

“Our new code enforcement officer reported to the board that the plans for the Taco Bell and Microtel are in our office and under review at this time,” said Taylor. “The Taco Bell is still going in off Mason Street. The entrances and exits to the Taco Bell will be through the existing parking lot of Save-A-Lot. The Microtel plans are under review as well. These are building plans and this is the final step.”

Taylor says once the building plans are given the final okay and everything is up to code construction will begin.
