New Seneca County RTS Bus Garage Set To Open

SHARE NOW

After twenty-years of being parked outside in Seneca County, the Regional Transit Service buses will soon be parked inside.

The new $8 million bus garage and office/training center in Waterloo is almost completed. The new RTS facility on Thurber Drive, adjacent to the Seneca County Office Building, was supposed to open last fall. It will open next month.

RTS CEO Miguel Velazquez says the new facility will make it easier to provide service to Seneca County.  Construction on the facility began in July 2023.
