This is the last weekend for the New Hall Diner. In a post on the Diner’s Facebook page, the owner wrote that despite efforts to purchase the Main Street building it was sold to another person. The Diner’s Facebook page will remain active in case there are future events that could benefit the Diner’s patrons.
"From the New Hall Diner’s Facebook page: “I had tried to buy the building for awhile, with no avail and knew that if someone else bought it, there was always the possibility that they would want to do their own thing with the space…well, that is the case. It is what it is, as we say. Although I’m devastated in many ways after putting so much work into building clientele, curating amazing relationships with customers, vendors & neighbors, experimenting with recipes & flavors, creating a lovely space for conversation & social health, & all of the many rewards, triumphs, joys & hard lessons I will take with me, I am also looking forward to what the next chapter will bring! It’s been an uphill climb since the beginning…especially surviving thru shutdown & multiple waves of covid & it’s aftermath…that I’m ready for some rest, renewed energy & less stress (MORE JOY!). I can’t thank enough the people who have helped this diner thrive…all of my ⭐ROCKSTAR⭐ employees & partner, Greg!! I couldn’t have asked for a better crew of fun, thoughtful, dedicated & creative bunch…THANK YOU!! We can all hold our heads up high with knowing what we created & sustained in 5 great years serving this community & leaving on a good note with love & support from our customer base & high ratings on Google, Facebook, yelp, etc…couldn’t ask for better than that! ‼️PLEASE try to come visit one last time before we go, leave your email address to join our mailing list to keep aware of possible pop-ups & updates.
