Police: Waterloo Man Made Detailed Plans to Kill Police, Code Enforcement Worker

SHARE NOW

A Waterloo man arrested last fall for allegedly making 3D-printed firearms is facing new charges.

Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson reports that on Friday, investigators arrested 40-year-old Collin Hennessy for two counts of Making a Terroristic Threat and intimidating a Victim or Witness in the third degree.

Authorities allege that Hennessy made detailed plans to harm members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and a member of the Seneca County Code Enforcement Office. These threats are reportedly connected to Hennessy’s arrest last October, when he was found in possession of 3D-printed firearms, ammunition, and a silencer.

Hennessy was taken into custody in Clifton Springs and transported to the Seneca County Jail. He is awaiting arraignment before the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

The arrest was carried out by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
