Some voters in Ontario County will see another name on the ballot in this year’s Democratic primary for New York’s 25th Congressional District.
Robin Wilt has officially launched a campaign challenging three-term incumbent Joe Morelle for the Democratic nomination in the district, which includes all of Monroe County and part of Ontario County. The 25th District includes portions of Bloomfield, East Bloomfield, and Victor, along with all of Monroe County. Wilt served on the Brighton Town Board for eight years and has been active in local organizing efforts for years.
She is not the only Democrat seeking the seat. Sherita Traywick, founder of Young & Gifted Ministries, announced her campaign last month
