In the election for Seneca County District Attorney, John Nabinger defeated Mark Sinkiewicz by 562 votes.  That’s according to unofficial election results provided by the Seneca County Board of Elections.

Nabinger released the following statement late Tuesday night:

“Thank you to the voters of Seneca County for electing me as your next District Attorney. I am humbled and honored to have earned your trust and will work hard every single day to ensure that justice is delivered firmly and fairly for the next four years.

“I also am eternally grateful to my campaign team – volunteers, supporters, friends and family – who came together to help make this victory possible. I simply can’t say ‘THANK YOU’ enough.

“And finally, I also want to extend my appreciation to Mark Sinkiewicz for his service as District Attorney for the past five years. I sincerely wish him all the best for the future.”
