A local man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital last night after the motorcycle he was riding struck a car in Wayne County.
41-year-old William Bachorski, of Savannah, was riding east on State Route 31 just before 10 o’clock when he hit a car that was headed north on Vienna Road and failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. Bachorski suffered a leg injury.
The driver of the car, Ann Wheeler, of Webster, was not injured.
There was no word on if any tickets were issued.
Also responding to the scene were, the Palmyra, East Palmyra, and Port Gibson Fire Departments.
