According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to 2562 Parish Rd in the Town of Ovid just before 8:00p who was last seen landing in a field and wooded area north of Ovid Aiport.

Deputies, assisted by members of the New York State Police and Ovid, Lodi, and Interlaken Fire Departments began searching for the missing woman. South Seneca Ambulance and Seneca County Emergency Management were also on scene.

59-year-old Mary Joslyn of Romulus was found an hour and 15 minutes later by emergency personnel on County Rd 139 with minor injuries and brought to an area hospital by personal vehicle.
