    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Meetings Today on Town of Seneca Ambulance Tax Plan

If you live in the town of Seneca, you are invited to attend community meetings today to learn about a proposed taxing district to support local ambulance services.

Members of the Stanley-Hall-Gorham Ambulance Company and town board officials will provide details on the potential creation of the taxing district, including how it could help fund ambulance services. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback, which will be shared with the town board for further consideration.

Meetings will be held today at the Seneca Town Hall from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and again from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
