A man was stabbed in the city of Geneva Friday morning.
Police were called to the Geneva General Hospital Emergency Room for a man suffering from two serious stab wounds to his upper body. The victim told police he was stabbed twice with a knife while at a business on Seneca Street. The 27-year-old was unable to provide a description of the suspect. He is expected to make a full recovery.
New York State Liquor Authority has been made aware of this incident and will be assisting the Geneva Police Department in the investigation.
The Geneva Police Department’s Detective Bureau has determined that this was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community. Investigators are following up on several leads.
