A man was arrested in the Town of Lyons Friday following a welfare check stemming from a domestic incident.
It is alleged that 32-year-old David Jones stomped and kicked a female during an argument. When deputies attempted to arrest him, it’s reported he resisted and kicked at deputies.
Jones was arrested for harassment in the second degree and resisting arrest. With assistance from the New York State Police, Wayne County deputies transferred him to the county jail to await CAP.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
