Lou Gramm “Knows What Love Is” From Fans In Rochester

SHARE NOW

It rained a bit in Rochester Saturday just before the Rochester Red Wings-Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders baseball game, but at least it was not “Cold as Ice.”

Lou Gramm, the lead singer of the band Foreigner, signed autographs, met with fans, and led the crowd at the Red Wings game in singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

The “Jukebox Hero” grew up in the Rochester area before making it big in the rock scene.  Saturday he got to “Know What Love Is”, as hundreds of people lined up to get their albums, books, and pictures autographed.

Back in the 1970’s before Foreigner, Gramm was the lead singer for the band, Black Sheep, and was known at Louis Grammatico.

A postgame fireworks show was set to Gramm’s hits.

His appearance was to promote his upcoming Oct. 7 performance at Kodak Center.
