Lawyers Call for Sanctions Against DA For Trial Delay

SHARE NOW

Claiming the Seneca County District Attorney caused a trial for their clients to be delayed, defense attorneys in a Waterloo murder case are calling for Mark Sinkiewicz to be sanctioned.

The lawyers for Wayne Ellision, Junior and Christopher Kesterson say the trial, which was supposed to begin last month, was delayed when Sinkiewicz turned over evidence at the last moment. The DA told the Finger Lakes Times he had just received reports from the State Police lab.

Ellison, Junior, of Waterloo, and Kesterson, of Phelps, face charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting death of Texas resident William Waugh at a home on Route 96 in the town of Waterloo.

Ellison, Junior and Kesterson will now go on trial for the murder of William Waugh on December 11th
