Judge Will Announce Jurisdiction Decisions in December in Clyde School Case

SHARE NOW

December 6th is decision day.  That’s when Wayne County Judge Rick Healy will determine the appropriate court jurisdiction for the cases of three of the four Clyde-Savannah football players indicted last week by a county grand jury.

Three teens are charged sexual abuse, hazing, and forcible touching after an assault on a 14-year-old boy in the locker room.

The fourth teen has been charged with unlawful surveillance after he posted a video of the incident online.  His case- because of state law-will be heard in Family Court.

Judge Healy can order the cases to be heard in Family Court or remain in Youth Part Court where they face criminal charges in county court.

All four teens will be back in court on December 6th.

The boys have not been in school since the incident.
