SHARE NOW

Last Wednesday, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office held a retirement and walkout ceremony for Investigator Christopher Felice.

Investigator Felice began his law enforcement career with the Sheriff’s Office in 2004 and was assigned to the Road Patrol Division as a Deputy Sheriff. While working as a Deputy Sheriff, he also held the additional roles of Field Training Officer, Child Passenger Safety Technician, and D.A.R.E. Officer.

In October 2012, Investigator Felice was promoted to the rank of Criminal Investigator and was primarily assigned to felony cases, child abuse cases, and domestic violence cases. During his time in the Criminal Investigation Division, he furthered his career by becoming an Evidence Technician, Forensic Interviewer of Children, Police Instructor, Forensic Mobile Device Examiner, and Advanced Juvenile Officer.

Investigator Felice devoted most of his career to protecting children in this community through the enforcement of law, and education, and by being a role model that they can look up to.

Sheriff Thompson remarked, “We wish Investigator Felice the very best in his retirement. We will miss him for sure, but he has certainly earned this day. I personally commend him for his work in the Family Services Unit as these are some of the most difficult cases that police officers must deal with. He is an advocate for children in this community and has worked very hard to protect them.”
