One local school district is holding off on appointing an interim superintendent due to ongoing negotiations.
The Waterloo School Board tabled a motion to hire Robert Banzer at this week’s meeting as negotiations continue. According to the Finger Lakes Times, Banzer is set to retire as superintendent of a school on Long Island at the end of the year.
The former Human Resources Director with the Wayne School District is expected to succeed acting superintendent Michael Midey, who took over earlier this month after the retirement of Terri Bavis.
