Geneva Police say the suspect in a stabbing that occurred in the city last Wednesday morning has turned himself in.
The Geneva Detective Bureau identified Michael Sapp as the sole person of interest in connection with the stabbing on Elmwood Avenue. Officers went to Geneva General Hospital at around 8 that morning and found the victim who claimed he had been sitting in a vehicle when he was stabbed multiple times with a knife. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
Sapp was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he turned himself in to Geneva authorities.
Sapp was sent to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
