A shooting just before last call Sunday morning took place outside “The Hideout” bar on Seneca Street in Geneva.
Police say a 33-year-old Geneva resident suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to their leg and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
According to a Facebook post on “The Hideout” bar page, a young man from out of town, came in the bar with a deadly weapon. The weapon was spotted by bar security and the man was removed. The post went on to say “Our priority is keeping everyone who comes into our establishment safe.”

A shooting just before two Sunday morning inside a Seneca Street bar in Geneva is under investigation.
Police say a 33-year-old Geneva resident suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to their leg and was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. No other details of the shooting have been released other than police believe it was an isolated incident.
