Plans on making improvements to the West Lake Road Sanitary pump station in Geneva are moving forward.
Supervisor Mark Venuti says with more development in the area, the station needs upgrades to maintain current operations without interruption and potential future hook-ups.
Speaking on FLX Morning with Ted Baker, Venuti said, “We’ve just approved the engineering by our engineering group and then we’ll probably be able to do that project in 2024. Luckily we have a fair amount of savings in the sewer budget so well be able to handle that.”
The cost of the entire project is not expected to be more than 500-THOUSAND dollars.
