A Geneva man who was arrested in February for sexually assaulting two children under the age of 13 has admitted to his crimes. Jorge Rodriguez-Merced entered guilty pleas to two felony counts of course of sexual conduct against a child.

Prosecutors said the attacks involving the 30-year-old happened multiple times for more than three months in 2022. Rodriguez-Merced’s initial arrest came about after the victim disclosed the sexual abuse to a social worker at school.

There is still a possibility that there are additional victims of Rodriguez-Merced who have yet to come forward. They ask you to contact Detective Jordan Dobies with the Geneva Police Department at 315-828-6780.
