For the last eight months, Nicole Wright has served the city of Geneva as its clerk. Now, she is going to serve the city in another capacity, as a paid Geneva firefighter.
Before becoming clerk, Wright worked as a 911 dispatcher for Ontario County. She is a longtime volunteer firefighter with the Hydrant Hose Company of the Geneva Fire Department and was named Firefighter of the Year in 2017.
Wright is a 2020 Hobart and William Smith graduate.
