Generations Bank’s Annual Taste & Tunes event in August raised $13,330 to be split evenly between four food pantries. Held at People’s Park; the event featured tastings and samplings from local wineries, breweries, and food vendors— and also showcased live music from Nate Michaels.
“Taste and Tunes provides the community with another great event to enjoy while supporting our local food pantries. It also provides an opportunity to highlight local food and beverage from our outstanding selection of vendors, while enjoying homegrown musical talent”, states Derek Dyson, CIO of Generations Bank. “This event has grown each year since 2015, and we couldn’t be more excited to have such great sponsors, volunteers, and community support.” All proceeds are donated to the Seneca County House of Concern, Seneca Falls Backpack Program, CAP of Waterloo and Trevor’s Gift to support the hungry in our local community.
Generations Bank and the Bonafiglia Family Foundation once again teamed up to continue supporting the fight to end hunger—last year, this collective partnership raised over $13,000.
“The Bonafiglia Family Foundation believes bringing together community members and organizations who share a common agenda will advance equity. We are grateful to have partners such as Generations Bank & the local food pantries who are open to exploring collective & creative ways to minimize food insecurity”, said Judy Wentzel, Executive Director for the Bonafiglia Family Foundation.
Taste and Tunes will return in 2025 in early August, to again showcase the local food and beverage scene, while providing a family-friendly atmosphere with prizes, raffles, and great live music.
