Generations Bank has secured $50,000 in federal grant funding for seven Seneca County nonprofits.
The bank announced on Tuesday that it secured the money from the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY). This marks the second time Generations has successfully applied for funding from the FHLBNY, having previously been awarded a grant in December 2023 for five nonprofits in Union Springs.
AG Cutrona, EVP – Chief Banking Officer at Generations Bank, led the application process. He stated “We are incredibly grateful to the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York for their continued support and commitment to our local non-profits. This funding will make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many in Seneca County by allowing these organizations to continue the vital work they do for our community.”
He also extended his thanks to Tom Settino, Vice President of Member Relations at FHLBNY, who brought the funding opportunity to his attention.
