Four Hurt After Two-Car Accident in Sodus

Four people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital following a two-car accident in Wayne County late Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a westbound car driven by 23-year-old Kyle Hughes of Lyons, allegedly drove through the intersection of North Geneva and Margaretta roads in Sodus and struck a northbound car. Hughes and his passenger, along with the driver of the other car and their passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A blood draw was conducted and the investigation is awaiting lab results.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by New York State Police, Sodus Fire Department, Williamson Ambulance, Ontario Ambulance and Wayne County ALS.
