Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union has been recognized as one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2025 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.
The annual ranking recognized top regional banks and credit unions in the United States based on a large-scale study of over 9,000 financial institutions, 71,000 US resident banking customer surveys, and millions of social media reviews. Additional criteria included financial performance factors, financial relevance, risk exposure to financial uncertainties, and the general health and stability of each financial institution. Of the approximately 9,170 financial institutions considered for this award, only 1,000 (500 credit unions and 500 regional banks) earned this designation.
“We could not be more thrilled to be named by Newsweek as one of America’s best credit unions. Receiving this honor is a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication and commitment to our mission of serving our members, businesses and communities across our footprint,” said Bob McFadden, President & CEO at Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union. “Our staff and management team consistently go above and beyond to help individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.
