Students and educators from across the Finger Lakes will attend the 2nd annual “Women in Manufacturing Summit” on Wednesday in downtown Rochester. The career exploration event features a panel of local women sharing their experiences in advanced manufacturing.
Not only will students and teachers attend the Summit at NextCorps Rochester, but the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program is also offering the event virtually via Zoom for schools that are unable to attend in person. Wednesday’s event is part of the Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association’s celebration of National Apprenticeship Week.

11:00 a.m. – Registration and networking
11:15 a.m. – Lunch provided at no cost to attendees
11:45 a.m. – Full Panel Discussion (In-Person and Zoom)
12:30 p.m. – Question and Answer
12:45 p.m. – Wrap-Up and Networking
The Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association (RTMA) and Monroe Community College (MCC) created the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program in 2018 to recruit high school juniors and seniors into advanced manufacturing.
