Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union celebrated a major milestone this week with the official groundbreaking of its new Webster office. Leadership, board members, and community guests gathered to mark the start of construction on the permanent location on December 9th.

The new branch reflects the Credit Union’s long-term commitment to the Webster community. The current Webster office, a leased space, has served members since 2004. Following the merger with Webster FCU in 2021, Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union decided to invest in a new, permanent location to accommodate growth and expand services for local consumers and businesses.

“Breaking ground on our new Webster office marks an incredibly proud moment for all of us at Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union,” said Bob McFadden, President & CEO. “Moving from a leased space into a property we own is more than a construction project—it’s a long-term investment in the Webster community and in our future. This new location will allow us to elevate the experience for existing members and position us to welcome more consumers and businesses with a broader range of products and services.”

Guests at the ceremony participated in a ceremonial shovel dig and heard remarks from leadership celebrating the project’s launch. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2026, with the branch opening to members shortly thereafter.

The new Webster branch will be located at 715 Ridge Road, at the corner of Ridge and Hatch Roads, just down the street from the current location.
