UPDATE: Victim Identified in Fatal Seneca Falls Accident

3:30 P.M. UPDATE:

A Seneca Falls man is dead after he was involved in an accident with an SUV while on his riding lawnmower.

Seneca Falls Police say the accident happened just before three Wednesday afternoon on Black Brook Road. 65-year-old Frank Magner died as a result of the collision and the driver of the SUV released from Geneva General Hospital after being treated for minor injuries. Police Chief Tim Snyder said they are not releasing the name of the SUV driver at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.

Chief Snyder, “Seneca Falls Police are diligently working to establish the facts surrounding this unfortunate event. We ask for the public’s patience and cooperation as we gather more information.”

A fatal motor vehicle accident is under investigation in Seneca Falls. Police say the accident happened Wednesday on County Road 102. No other details have been released.

The town of Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, North Seneca Ambulance and the Seneca Falls Fire Department.
