Executed Search Warrant Results in Arrest of Two Geneva Felons

SHARE NOW

The execution of a high-risk search warrant in the city of Geneva resulted in the arrest of two convicted felons on drug charges.

Residents’ complaints of drug sales led to a several-month police investigation which culminated with the warrant being executed at 380 South Main Street at around 5 Friday morning. A large amount of crack cocaine, ecstasy pills, and approximately $800 in cash were found inside the apartment in question.

42-year-old Heather Hilligus and 36-year-old Loyd Kennedy were each charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both were released on appearance tickets.

Due to New York State Bail Reform and the decision of the presiding CAP court judge, both defendants were released to reappear at a later date.

The Geneva Police Department would like to thank the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation and execution of the search warrant.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
