SHARE NOW

A former Geneva Police Officer has been tapped to become the next director of emergency management in Ontario County.

John Yannotti, Junior, will begin the job on Monday. The Finger Lakes Times reports Yannotti previously worked as a 911 dispatcher for Geneva, a police officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and an EMT for Finger Lakes Ambulance.

Yannotti will replace Jeff Harloff, who retired last July after holding the job for 21 years.
